Delegate Registration Information


April 3, 2020 Update


It is with a sad heart that we announce the 2020 session of American Legion Auxiliary New Mexico Girls State is canceled. With the current COVID-19 pandemic our board has spent countless hours observing news reports and press releases from Federal, State and local government, working with the ENMU staff and meeting to discuss alternative options. Ultimately with the safety of our delegates and volunteers in mind and in the hope to do our part to flatten the curve the decision was made to cancel the program to be held May 31 - June 5, 2020.

This year's session will be held:

Sunday, May 31 - Friday, June 5, 2020
Eastern New Mexico University Campus - Portales, NM


To register your attendance for session please signup for the website and login. Then select one of the section buttons below to begin. Our registration form has been broken into three sections and the registration fee to allow users to complete their registration in multiple sittings if necessary. The sections and registration fee can be submitted in any order but all sections and the fee must be submitted to register your attendance at ALANMGS. All questions in a section must be answered and submitted before leaving the page or else you will lose any entries you've typed in.

To complete the online registration delegates will need to submit a $30 non-refundable registration fee. This fee can be paid online with a credit card or through the mail with a check.

Register your attendance as early as possible to be a part of this once in a lifetime opportunity!

This section includes personal information questions such as your contact information, date of birth, etc. You will need a photo available to upload to complete this section.

This section includes short answer essay questions about your high school, extra-curricular and other background.

This section helps us plan for session and asks details to ensure you are ready for the week. Make sure you have talked to your parent/guardian about attending ALANMGS before completing this section.

Registration Fee

All students registering for ALA NM Girls State must submit a non-refundable delegate registration fee of $30 to complete the registration process. Delegates can submit payment online with a credit card or mail in a check. Select the button below that corresponds with your choice.


Pay online will add your registration fee to your online cart. A mini cart will pop up on the right side of the screen showing this selection has been added to your cart. Ignore this and click on the left of the screen to return to this page. After completing all fields on this page and clicking Submit Registration you will be directed to the online cart to submit payment information for the registration fee.


Pay by check will show you a popup with more details to mail in your check.


Ensure you select Submit my Registration Fee in either case to complete this part of your delegate registration form.

After completing the application sections and submitting your registration fee begin reviewing the online packet available at the Be Prepared page to get the paperwork, packing list and other details you need to prepare for session. Please make sure to read over all content especially those with noted deadlines.
