Volunteering at American Legion & American Legion Auxiliary NM Staters
Volunteers are essential for the success of the program and fill such roles during the program as:

First Aid - Basic medical first aid for students and staff offering review/recommendations for further medical care from local clinics or basic care if it can be offered in house.

Senior Counselor - Mentor city and provide support to other city staff.

Government Counselor - Educators during the week, providing instruction based on details manuals provided.

Ancillary Staff - Store Staff, Office Support, Activities Team. Multi-functional these individuals cover many bases ensuring the program runs on the backside.

Media Team - Taking pictures, posting on social media, working with the city reporters these individuals capture the experience of the week.
