Congratulations on registering to attend the American Legion Auxiliary New Mexico Girls State Program!

We look forward to seeing you at the ENMU campus in Portales, NM from
Sunday, June 11 - Friday, June 16.

Check-in is Sunday, June 11 from 12 pm - 2 pm in the Guadalupe Hall dorm.

Check-out is Friday, June 16 from 11 am - 1 pm.

We hope this 6 days of intensive hands on learning will be a once in a lifetime experience you will remember forever.

Delegates can check the status of their paperwork submissions by logging in and and selecting "Registration Status" from your account options at the top right of the screen.

Don't forget

your photo id!

In addition to the session documents above, all students must bring a photo id with them to check-in. This can be a state issued id, military id, or school id.

Expectations

College Credit Info

Attendees of American Legion Auxiliary New Mexico Girls State are eligible to receive 3 college credit hours from Eastern New Mexico University. These credits are fully transferable and offered at no cost to attendees of ALA NM Girls State. A presentation from an ENMU representative will be given during session to answer any questions students may have on the credit hours, college life, ENMU or any other post graduation topics.

Requirements to earn credits include:

  • Participate in and complete the entire American Legion Auxiliary New Mexico Girls State session.

  • Complete the Legislation Project.

  • Create a report on experiences during session. Details will be provided during session to complete report during session.

Transcripts, credit details or transfer information is available through the ENMU registrars office following session.
